Corporate Training Account

San Francisco American Heart Association

Do you have more than 50 staff that must take American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, PALS, or CPR training in Northern California? Safety Training Seminars can help you.

About us – Safety Training Seminars

Safety Training Seminars is an American Heart Association Training Center (license number is CA-20784).  This company was started in 1989 in San Francisco by Charles Seidel, but over the years has grown by opening up offices in 10 cities across Northern California including Vallejo, Concord, Berkeley, Dublin, Manteca, San Francisco, Novato, Rancho Cordova, San Jose, & Redwood City.

Easy Registration

Your staff is busy. They do not have time to search around to find the correct CPR class and also to make sure it is a legitimate organization. If you send your staff to us, you will know they will be receiving the official American Heart Association certification cards. Also, our registration process is fast and simple. It takes most students less than 2 minutes to register for a class and we also have a mobile app for even quicker registration.

Easy Scheduling

Many companies prefer to set up a corporate account with us to save them time.

These problems will be over:

  • Finding a date and time that works for all your staff.
  • Dealing with staff certification cards expiring at different times.
  • Dealing with students who cancel their class.
  • Reminding and confirming staff about their upcoming class.
  • Finding an instructor to teach the class.

The Process

  • Tell your staff to go our website.
  • They register and mention your company name
  • At the end of the month, we mail you a bill

Cancellation Policy

Students can cancel anytime with no penalty. Once a student registers for a class, they will receive a confirmation email. In that email, they can click on one button to cancel their class.

Frequently Asked Questions About Our Corporate Account

Is there a contract that I have to sign?
No. I am a strong believer in no contracts. If service is good, than the client is happy and the business relationship continues. We do not ask our clients to sign any contracts.

Our company does not pay for the training. What can we do?
Most companies do not pay for the training, but instead ask their employees to go offsite to receive their proper certification cards. We can still offer these discounts to your staff. Instead of billing you for the training, we can issue your staff discount cards that they can use at any of our 10 Northern California locations. Call me for more information.

When are the certification cards issued?
Safety Training Seminars issues the American Heart Association certification cards on the day of the training. I know a lot of other Bay Area CPR companies mail out the cards after the class, but I have discovered that most students prefer to walk out of the class with their card in hand.

Do you offer free parking?
All of our locations offer lots of free parking. The one exception is our office in Berkeley. However, this location is only 2 blocks from downtown Berkeley BART station.

What happens if a student registers for a class and does not show up?
Students only pay for the training if they actually show up and take the class. You are not charged for students who cancel or do not show. After a student registers for a class, they will receive an email confirmation. In this email, they can click one link to cancel their class.

What happens if a student does not pass the courses?
Students only pay for the training if they pass their course. If they do not pass, they do not pay.

Are your instructors nice?
Yes. Our instructors are extremely professional and friendly. And our classrooms are equipped with nice bathrooms, comfortable seating, free soda, granola bars, coffee, and tea.

Are you instructors qualified?
Yes. All of our instructors are certified by the American Heart Association to provide BLS, CPR, ACLS, and PALS courses. Our instructors are sent to various CPR conferences and update seminars throughout the year. The next conference we will be attending is in Las Vegas: The 2014 Emergency Cardiovascular Care Update by the Citizen CPR Foundation.
